Unexpected Visitors in Service Yard 4…

Monday 20th May 2019 was designated as “World Bee Day” by the UN. Right on cue, we had our own swarm of native Irish honey bees take up residence in service yard 4.

Thankfully, our resident Landscaper, Mick Kennedy, is a keen beekeeper. Mick and his son Eoghan successfully removed the queen and her swarm from our site and relocated them to their new residence in Dripsey 🐝🐝🐝

FYI – We are changing the flower bed in the roundabout in front of Pro Valet Cork to a bee and butterfly friendly plantation. This will be planted with native Irish flora and fauna. Work is due to start on the 22nd May 🌻🌿🌺🌹🐝
