Mahon Point Turns Back Time:
Time Capsules from 2005 Opened in Nostalgic 20th Anniversary Celebration
As part of our 20th-anniversary celebrations, Mahon Point Shopping Centre unveiled a special piece of our history, on February 19th, with the opening of time capsules that were sealed and buried when the centre first opened in 2005.

We were delighted to invite back the families of six building contractors who built Mahon Point, to open and read the messages they had left inside time capsules two decades ago. While not all could attend, those present shared a nostalgic journey as they revisited their childhood words, offering a unique glimpse into the past and celebrating the role their families played in shaping the shopping centre.
