The Omniplex cinema at Mahon Point Shopping Centre hosts 13 screens and boasts the latest in projection and digital sound technology delivering one of the most superior multiplex facilities in Ireland.

The Omniplex Cinema Cork City has undergone a €4m refurbishment that provides the ultimate cinema experience never seen before in the country … until now.

The country’s first OmniplexMAXX screen is a giant ‘silver’ screen, four storeys in height and includes High Frame Rate (HFR) 3D digital projection, which takes cinema viewing to another level. This is combined with the installation of Dolby Atmos Audio.

Movie goers will get to experience this phenomenal visual and aural delight from bespoke leather ‘rocker’ chairs in the new curved auditorium, which gives optimum viewing pleasure from every vantage point.
