Posted July 24th 2023
Dear Valued Customers,
Regrettably, due to circumstances beyond our control, we continue to be unable to sell or accept gift cards. This issue stems from the recent revocation of the operating licence of UAB PayrNet, the Electronic Money Institution (EMI) with responsibility for issuing the cards on the scheme.
As of July 21, 2023, our gift card programme manager RG Financial has been assured that all funds linked to our gift cards are safeguarded despite PayrNet’s licence suspension, which has currently frozen these funds.
We wish to inform you that comprehensive plans have been set in motion to transition these funds to a new EMI called Paynovate. We anticipate this transfer to be completed by the end of August 2023. Upon completion, cardholders will regain access to any unredeemed funds, restoring full functionality to their cards.
We acknowledge that this development might cause you concern and potentially disrupt your shopping experience. Please be aware that this issue extends beyond our shopping centre, affecting various service providers and centres across Ireland and Europe who also rely on UAB PayrNet’s services.
We extend our deepest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding during this period. Rest assured we will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
Thank you for your patience and continued loyalty to Mahon Point Shopping Centre.
