Our Fundraising Committee here at Mahon Point is currently busy raising funds for Cork Simon Community.
Cork Simon was voted our preferred charity by staff members from our retail stores and management team.
Every year Cork Simon supports over 1,000 men and women at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
We will be donating 100% of funds raised to this most worthy cause at a time of the year when they will desperately need it.

The following is being planned to help raise vital funds:
Sleep Out October 2nd
On Sunday 2nd October, “Sleep Out in aid of Cork Simon” will take place in our covered car park and already many staff members have signed up to take part which is fantastic!
We are getting the flasks of tea ready and pulling out the thermals as members of our staff prepare give up their bed for one night to support those facing homelessness and raise vital funds.
Specsavers Sponsored Walk
A big well done to Michael, Helen and the team in Specsavers for their recent Sponsored Walk, in aid of Cork Simon when they raised €325.
Style Squad
At our current Style Squad event with Dee Kelly Morgan, we are using the event as an opportunity to promote our fundraising plans.

Cork City 10 Miler
A special mention should go out to Jack in JD Sports for his participation in “The Cork City 10 Miler” and a massive congratulations to him on his time achieved but more importantly, his funds raised of over €200 in four days!
Mall collections:
Last weekend we commenced our mall collections which has already proved to be very successful. Over €550 euros were collected from the general public. We are planning more collections this weekend. Please give generously!
